Prototyping Green Hydrogen Micro-Grids on the Blockchain

What if the next wave of clean energy was fully decentralised? Hydrogen is the universe most abundant element and recent developments suggest that combining solar power to the electrolysis of seawater could make green hydrogen a very scalable and attractive solution for coastal communities. Indonesia is the world's largest archipelagic country with 5.8 million Km2 of territorial water and abundant solar exposure - a huge untapped potential. In this workshop you will get your hands dirty, producing actual solar hydrogen, storing and using it to power diverse devices. We will then set up a testnet DAO, custom tokens and co-create speculative scenari of what a fully decentralised green energy would look like, operate, transact and self-govern. Be ready to roll up your sleeves for lab experiments, blockchain project designs, and imagining how we build inclusive resilient futures during the ongoing climate crisis.
