Ashleen is an coastal ecologist in the Surbana Jurong Singapore – Coastal Resilience team with over 8 years of experience across a multitude of climate change themes – with knowledge and experiences in natural capital, ecosystem services, carbon inventory, and green finances. Once a marine biologist and climate palaeontologist, she has been engaged as an environmental consultant with WWF and IEEP Europe. Furthermore, her expertise includes conducting natural capital risk assessments, assessing, and monitoring MPAs, and developing sustainability economy roadmaps and climate-change scenarios while working on environmental, social and governance policies (ESG). With her involvement in Conference of Parties (COP)s, she hopes to bring transformative change in the climate change and blue sustainability space.
